Wake up to fresh air and great views, from the mew of a buzzard to the smell of freshly cut hay, the Cornish countryside is waiting for you to discover it here at Oakridge Farm.

We offer an accessible yet secluded bolt-hole with some welcome peace and quiet. A perfect location for families, nature lovers and walkers to explore the
wonderful Cornish coast and countryside, or simply soak in the scenery, peace
and tranquility.

Our converted Granary barn is family and pet friendly and you
are welcome to bring your well behaved dog. We have a growing number of friendly farm animals. You can pat Snoopy the miniature Shetland pony and his companions, play with the rabbits, visit Cuthbert the cockerel and his wives, feed Mrs Pig and her family or simply watch the wildlife.

Set in around 10 acres of grounds, the large garden to the rear of the barn has
tables and chairs, and is a perfect place to enjoy a barbecue and watch the
setting sun. The garden to the side of the barn incudes benches and a play
area. We also have two fields for you to enjoy.

Elm is a light and airy first floor apartment reached from the garden via the
old granary steps.  It offers an open-plan high-beamed living room incorporating a well equipped kitchen and comfortable seating. There is a welcome pack for
guests, with a selection of items such as a bottle of wine, fresh
flowers, fairtrade tea and coffee, and a home baked cake or biscuits.

Local Services:  Village shop, pub, bus stop and garden centre with pet shop and cafe, at Goonhavern, just over a mile away. Truro or Newquay are 6 miles away.Perranporth, Holywell and Crantock beaches are all a short drive.

About The Area:

Oakridge Farm is just over a mile from the village of Goonhavern where there is a Pub, village store, Cornwall World in Miniature theme park, and a large garden centre with a pet shop, cafe and more.

We are a short drive from some of Cornwalls best beaches, including Perranporth, Holywell and Crantock.

Six miles to the south is Truro, wth its cobbled streets and cathedral. It has many of the major chain stores, a variety of small independent outlets, a pannier market and a farmers market. Also, a cinema and the Hall for Cornwall, which puts on a variety of shows.

Six miles north is Newquay, the surfing capital with magnificent beaches and the best of Cornwall's night life.

Activities available close by include golf, horse riding, surf lessons, fishing trips, diving and cycle hire.
